I actually agree with this score, amazing game that has to be experienced.
Agreed mate, this game is an interactive masterpiece, the best new experience in years. I can see the personal concepts intertwined between the puzzle/platforming elements, flying over most heads, but for those who 'get' this game, it's an honour to play.
Good news, though for me personally, I will still import. Cheaper prices FTW.
Sorry mate but your ignorant comments are not welcome here. It is about an Australian Microsoft initiative, which as an Aussie, I support wholeheartedly.
I suggest you stick to the open zone
Great to see, us Aussies are getting some 360 lovin :)
Interesting panel debate..... I was unaware that we didn't have any rating system for games /end sarcasm/
When some of the people representing us in politics don't even know the basics of our archaic
classification system I doesn't give me much hope.
Exactly, we all know RARE are capable of making masterpieces, we are just yet to see something of that calibre This Gen.
No one can say with absolute certainty that they won't achieve that high level of creation again. I suppose we will have to wait and see.
I agree with most statements on here, a little surprised by the low numbers. Though not terrible, I expected more, especially after seeing/reading about the game, looks fairly interesting.
Release dates anyone.
Finally a voice of reason. I wonder, do some of you people actually enjoy playing games or is it your purpose in life to endlessly squabble about meaningless garbage. The industry was once filled with enthusiasts who played for fun, was I just oblivious to these petty mud flinging matches, or have fanboys turned extreme.
Though there is one funny thing to come out of this, while your all trying to frantically justify your purchase to a bunch of anonymous website users, I will ac...
Some places have been done to death, ie New York :)
Good to see some studios trying different environments.
I have finally found a news item with intelligent 'gamers' in it, good to hear guys.
I have owned nearly ever console since the atari 2600. Nes, Snes, Gamboy, GB Advance, N64, Master system, Mega-drive, Mega-CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, Wii, 360.
I will probably be getting a PS3 soon(ish) just waiting for a few more games to grab me, looking forward to LBP especially :)
I used to be about games, now it's about only supporting one console, It'...
How is this a story? Of course NZ will get the game first when it's a worldwide release. I suggest this site research UTC.
I absolutely love this game. I loved the whole collection quest ie Can of Dogfood trade :)
Amazing music as well, Windfish melody was brilliant.
Any type of fanboy comment on this story just shows how pathetic some people can be. We are talking about a persons life here, not some crappy piece of plastic, show some bloody respect.
Im fairly certain this fan event is the same each day, it gives a chance for all the fans to check out what's coming up. So I would be very surprised if there are any more announcements.
Shenmue 1 & 2 are masterpieces, every videogame fan should not miss out on these titles. We can only dream of one day playing Shenmue 3.
Could you explain in more detail why this is the case? I'm not having a go at you mate, Im just interested in what draws people to the PC as a gaming platform, as I said earlier, I have limited experience with PC gaming.
Cheers
Being a console gamer exclusively I cant really comment on the PC as a gaming platform. It will be interesting to see their perspective on this great article.
I don't think anyone can deny though, the enjoyment of sitting on the lounge, with a massive HDTV and the surround sound blaring :)
WIth basically no market to acquire in Japan it wouldn't surprise me if the PS3 outsells the 360 this year.
But what do I do? I'm yet to purchase a PS3 (money is tight atm), and with the lineup this year Im not sure if I should. I just don't know if Sony's games this year appeal to me. I have already played Drakes fortune and beaten MGS4 (an amazing experience), but whats next.
LBP does look absolutely amazing, still not sure if it is enough for me throw down the cas...
As much as I would love to support the gaming industry here in Aus, the disparity between prices here and abroad are ridiculous. I don't even buy my XBL Gold subscription cards in Australia.
